3+ years of experience with system engineering activities, including requirements analysis, engineering, design, integration, sustainment, testing, and technology refresh, Experience assessing SATCOM system architectures and hardware limitations, definition and selection of new concepts and approaches, and design, development, and implementation, Experience participating in the planning, organizing, and conducting of technical projects design and development, testing, fielding, and sustainment, Experience developing systems engineering plans, identifying cost, schedule, and performance risks, and developing mitigation plans, Experience analyzing, evaluating, and planning methods of approach to achieve solutions of complex technical problems, Experience coordinating and consolidating design efforts on major projects, Secret clearance, Bachelor’s degree
Nice to Have
3+ years of experience in a military communications field, including Defense Information Systems Network, commercial network, and coalition network connectivity, Knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), SATCOM, and IP network technologies, Knowledge of DoDI 5000. 02 acquisition life cycle and systems engineering requirements, Knowledge of wideband, narrowband, and protected military SATCOM, INCOSE ASEP or CSEP, Security+, and CCNA Certifications
