**Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!** # Responsibilities: * Ensure reliable operation, monitoring, and performance optimisation of SAP ABAP and Java‑based systems, including SAP S/4HANA environments; * Plan, coordinate, and govern SAP system installations, upgrades, support package and kernel updates, as well as transport and release management across SAP landscapes; * Administer and govern SAP landscapes across on‑premise, hyperscaler, and SAP RISE environments; * Ensure and steer SAP system availability, including defined backup and restore strategies and regularly tested disaster recovery readines; * Serve as the senior escalation point for complex SAP Basis incidents and problems resolution; * Govern SAP Basis activities across in SAP RISE projects and hybrid scenarios; * Manage technical interfaces with SAP, hyperscalers and AMS providers; * Steer system migrations, conversions (ECC → S/4HANA), and technical cutovers; * Ensure compliance with SAP standards, security guidelines, and internal IT policies; * Drive automation, standardisation, and documentation of Basis processes; * Support audit, compliance, and security activities (authorisation, system hardening); * Contribute to capacity planning, cost transparency, and technical system optimisation; * Support test activities by ensuring technical system readiness for SIT, UAT, and Go‑Live; * Provide technical input for SAP architecture decisions and roadmaps; * Mentor junior SAP Basis colleagues and actively share best practices. # Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or comparable technical qualification; * Fluent in English, German nice to have; * 7+ years of hands‑on experience in SAP Basis administration within complex enterprise environments; * Proven experience operating and supporting SAP S/4HANA systems and heterogeneous SAP landscapes; * Mandatory experience with SAP RISE and/or cloud‑based SAP operations (e.g. hyperscaler or hybrid scenarios);
