Industry & Context.
Willing to work weekends/evenings as needed, Twistend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl, Some heavy lifting may be required, The exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally may be required, Must be able to work in hot, humid environments for extended periods of time with exposure to dust, allergens, and water, Activities include extended periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, stooping and bending, Twisting in tight areas may also be required at times
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School education, Ability to follow detailed work instructions to complete tasks, Must be able to work independently and as a team, Must be able to comply with proper protective equipment (PPE) when in the GPP/GMP area and willing to wear proper protective gear
Nice to Have
Previous sanitation experience in a highly regulated industry, Good working knowledge of Department of Health sanitation requirements, Knowledge of GPP/GMP (Good Production Practices/ Good Manufacturing Processes)
What You'll Do.
Supporting plant-wide safety & sanitation programs
Maintaining a hygienic
clean and sanitary facility environment
building structure & grounds
Ensuring safe working practices including chemical handling
including but not limited to SQF
PPE and OSHA requirements
Facility cleaning as per GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements
Keeping all equipment and work areas clean and free of debris
Sweeping and mopping all floors
placing the safety signs where required
Cleaning washrooms and breakrooms
picking up garbage and cleaning the required offices
Cleaning of individual equipment parts
Cleaning Grow Rooms after the harvesting of cannabis plants
Notifying manager concerning the need for major repairs on equipment and process rooms
Following all safety protocols including lockout-tagout
chemical handling and PPE as required
Emptying all facility trash cans as scheduled and replacing with new liners as required
Managing Sanitation Storage Room: making sure all supplies are in their appropriate area
Relaying any stock that needs to be reordered to manager
Maintaining daily cleaning log and schedule as directed

Work activities involve maintaining a hygienic, clean and sanitary facility environment, its equipment, building structure & grounds. ## WHAT YOU WILL DO Ensures safe working practices including chemical handling, including but not limited to SQF, PPE and OSHA requirements.Responsible for facility cleaning as per GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements.Keeps all equipment and work areas clean and free of debris.Sweeps and mops all floors, placing the safety signs where required.Cleans washrooms and breakrooms, picks up garbage and cleans the required offices.Cleaning of individual equipment parts, as required.Cleaning Grow Rooms after the harvesting of cannabis plants.Knows and understands the operation and function of all sanitation cleaning equipment.Knows the purpose and usage rate of all sanitizers and cleaning solutions.Notifies manager concerning the need for major repairs on equipment and process rooms.Follows all safety protocols including lockout-tagout, chemical handling and PPE as required.Empties all facility trash cans as scheduled and replaces with new liners as required.Manages Sanitation Storage Room: makes sure all supplies are in their appropriate area.Relays any stock that needs to be reordered to manager.Maintains daily cleaning log and schedule as directed.Other duties as required ## WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR High School education.Previous sanitation experience in a highly regulated industry an asset.Good working knowledge of Department of Health sanitation requirements an asset.Willing to work weekends/evenings as needed.Willingness to learn and physical aptitu
