Hours: 2nd Shift Monday- Friday 6pm-2:30am Pay: $17.00 hour Job Description · Clean and sanitize processing area and equipment, following guidelines of U.S.D.A. during evening shift. · Disassemble, handle, and reassemble equipment in a manner that maintains the conditions and food safety of the equipment at all times. · Ensure that cleaning chemical concentrations, cleaning times, temperatures and flows meet personal safety, food safety and cleaning standards · Follow all sanitation, general plant, area-specific and equipment specific safe practices and GMP standards · Safely and efficiently operate Clean In Place and Clean Out of Place systems · Complete all documentation, communication and record-keeping requirements accurately, on time and in a professional manner · Inspect sanitation work and follow up as appropriate to ensure that all operating and sanitation standards have been met to ensure a safe and effective on-time start of plant processing and equipment. · Perform other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities: * The ability to be organized, self-motivated, work as a team in a fast paced work environment * The ability to understand and execute Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP's) and best practices safely, consistently and effectively * Previous experience in a food manufacturing sanitation role is preferred Physical demands of the job: During an 8 hour night shift , the employee will perform the following on a frequent to constant basis: · Standing * Walking * Bending, twisting * Pushing, pulling * Reaching * Overhead work * Climbing * Carrying, both bilateral and unilateral * Repetitive motion: using upper extremitie
