Must Have
A minimum of two years’ experience in a central compliance function within banking or financial services is essential, Demonstrated knowledge of banking systems and controls related to financial crime prevention is required, Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office applications—especially Excel—and report writing abilities are necessary, Excellent attention to detail combined with a broad understanding of financial crime risks such as sanctions, anti-money laundering (AML), anti-bribery & corruption (ABC) is expected, A good grasp of risk management concepts as they apply within banking environments is important, Experience managing priorities efficiently while delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines is highly valued, Outstanding interpersonal skills that foster positive relationships with colleagues across departments are crucial, Clear communication skills—both written and verbal—are needed
Nice to Have
Previous experience working within a central sanctions function would be advantageous, Ability to use Python or hold relevant qualifications related to compliance or risk management would enhance your application
