ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY We are looking for a highly skilled Part-Time Sample Room Cutter to join our in-house atelier in NYC. This role is critical to the development process, supporting the creation of prototypes, development samples, and SMS garments through precise cutting, material management, and early-stage garment preparation. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation, exceptional attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to fabric handling, yield tracking, atelier organization, and material testing. ESSENTIAL DUTIES use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
