Performs any combination of sample accession tasks
shipping and disposition of samples.
Reviews sample inventory against samples to ensure accuracy.
Communicate discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
Solves problems independently
contacting internal or external clients for clarification as needed.
Communicates confirmation of sample receipt to clients
Handles internal and external customer inquiries and requests.
Distributes sample information and paperwork.
Responsible for entry and accuracy of sample tracking systems.
Introduces and helps develop improvement ideas for the group
with senior personnel or Management.
Assists in training new employees
working with and directing less experienced staff
and prioritizing workloads and/or special projects on a daily basis.
Oversees and reviews work of peers as appropriate.
Takes action for the department when additional responsibilities and opportunities are presented.
