SMIT Salvage is part of Boskalis and in your job you will work for this salvage company that is one of the largest in the world. We have an extensive track record and our client base includes many ship owners, governments, oil and gas companies and leading insurers. The power of the sea is unpredictable. Teamwork is key in salvage activities, which take place both under and above water. The work consists of miscellaneous tasks like welding and cargo handling but also work on deck. You are responsible for independently performing complex diving and salvage tasks, leveraging extensive experience as a salvage diver. Take charge on deck during diving operations and execute assigned tasks with a small team, possessing sufficient theoretical knowledge to independently solve basic problems.
