**_Job Description_** We are looking for a passionate Trailblazer (aka Salesforce Developer) to join our Technology team supporting Cigna Global Individual Health. The Salesforce Developer will work on an Agile scrum team and will be responsible for managing assigned work requests throughout the SDLC, building customized solutions using Salesforce declarative tools, custom code, and AppExchange products. The candidate will require to gain understanding of business requirements and work to develop them accordingly. **_About You_** You’re the type of person that is always looking to learn and embrace existing and emerging integration capabilities/approaches. You’re passionate about all things technology and keep up to date with the latest industry trends and products. You’re the type of person that loves the challenge of solving complex technical problems by thinking outside the box. A normal day looks like: **_Development_** * Analysing requirements to ensure information is complete and determine complexity. * Applying your knowledge of “out of the box” functionality to determine what different design options exist and highlight any compromises. * Developing and documenting customised solutions within the Salesforce platform including enhancing and creating flows, functions and configurations and maintaining balance between point and click and coding solutions * Develop system integrations involving Salesforce.com web services (JSON, SOAP) and Metadata API * Ensuring developed solutions are written to be maintainable, scalable, testable and deployable. * Ensuring that solutions adhere to Salesforce best practices and leverage standard CRM functionality where possible. * Support for bug fixing * Maintaining system security and integrity * Deployment/Release of the change through sandboxes to production ** _Leadership and Collaboration_** * Participating in peer review sessions with other Salesforce developers and admins within your team or Cigna's Salesforce community
