Rexel USA operates its electrical distribution business in the United States through eight Regions that go to market under various banner and trade names, including Rexel, Rexel Automation, Gexpro, Mayer, Talley and Platt Electric Supply. In addition to an online store, Rexel USA has a distribution network of over 460 warehouse storefront locations throughout the U.S. We are looking for a Sales Trainee to join our Mayer team located in Norcross, GA! Summary: The Sales Trainee is responsible for completing the Sales Trainee orientation program that covers all aspects of business sales within a comprehensive and progressive timeframe. This includes learning the company products and services, gaining familiarity with branch operations, building high quality relationships with new and existing customers, and learning how to generate profitable sales. Trainees will gain practical hands-on experience as well as learn the Company’s mission, vision, culture, and values. Upon successful completion of all workplace assignments, the trainee will be able to apply for a sales role within the company. What You'll Do: * Complete the Sales Trainee orientation program with emphasis in the areas of product knowledge, warehouse operations, customer service, sales, and marketing support * Will gain knowledge of all aspects of the sales process including but not limited to outside sales, inside sales, counter sales, project management, etc. * Become proficient in answering customer inquiries regarding product needs and processing orders * Generate quotes and prices, give delivery specifications and payment terms, and offer substitute products where appropriate * Learn to build and maintain customer relationships and provide excellent customer service, be responsive to requests for information, and establish priorities for processing t
