Minimum 3 years experience in Sales/SDR/DR/AM roles or 1 year supporting Sales teams in sales operations or other support roles, Basic understanding of Sales as a business function, Basic knowledge of Salesforce CRM, Basic knowledge of other key sales tools, Foundation in analytical and problem solving skills, Able to compile basic data analysis using Excel or Google Sheets, Sense of urgency in responding to Sales inquiries
Nice to Have
Experience in high-tech or SaaS based companies, Experience building and using agentic-prompts to automate GTM and support workflows
What You'll Do.
Support Tier 1 Sales Operations lead
Optimize Tier 1 support model
Respond to sales inquiries within defined SLAs
Triage and escalate to Tier 2 support teams
Manage defined Tier 1 scope sales inquiries
Escalate inquiries to appropriate Tier 2 support teams
Assist with basic sales operations tasks
Perform data hygiene tasks
Validate account routing
Validate lead routing
Perform basic reporting in SFDC
Assist with new hire onboarding for Salesforce CRM

The Sales Strategy & Operations Analyst will be part of Fastly’s Global Sales Operations team, providing Tier 1 Sales Operations support for International Sales teams in EMEA and JAPAC. They will partner closely with the Tier 1 Sales Operations lead and EMEA and JAPAC Field operations team, as well as multiple stakeholders across Channel and SE operations, Marketing operations, and IT Business Systems teams. This role will be an entry-level Sales Operations role, and will report into the Sr. Manager, Global Sales Strategy & Operations, based out of our India office. This role will also matrix into the Tier 1 Sales Operations lead based out of our Denver office. The perfect candidate for this role is a self-starter, curious, and willing to learn new things quickly. They will have a basic understanding of Sales as a business function, with a minimum 3 years experience either in Sales/SDR/BDR/AM roles or at least 1 year supporting Sales teams in sales operations or other support roles, with a high-tech or SaaS based companies. They will have basic level knowledge of Salesforce CRM, as well as other key sales tools supporting Prospecting, Account and Opportunity Management.
