Ability to pass the Company’s internal presentation certification within thirty days of hire, Ability to work a number of evenings and or weekends every month, Ability to drive frequently, Ability to obtain and maintain an insurance license if required by state/province, Flexible hours but, at times must have the ability to work up to 12 hours in a day
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years of college or an equivalent of education and experience, Current state/province issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, Ability to work a number of evenings and or weekends every month, Ability to drive frequently, Ability to obtain and maintain an insurance license if required by state/province, Flexible hours but, at times must have the ability to work up to 12 hours in a day, Ability to treat others with empathy and respect, Knowledge of computers and some software, Customer service skills
Nice to Have
1-2 years of customer service or sales industry experience preferred, Insurance license if required by state/province law and as prescribed by each state board
What You'll Do.
Serve client families by making at need cemetery arrangements
Sell pre-need arrangements
Provide exemplary personalized service
Generate revenue for the cemetery
Act as primary contact for families
Prospect a minimum of 1-2 hours each day
Obtain referrals from families served
Network and build community relationships
Explain and present presentations to families
Maintain and track activity levels
Respond to client inquiries
Connect with families through listening
Develop understanding of family needs
Offer solutions that provide value
Stay in touch with families
Prepare for all appointments
Perform all procedures with professionalism
Follow through on customer problems
Build trust-based relationships
Earn the right to ask for referrals
Educate on benefits of pre-planning
Represent continuous link from services
Collaborate and team with staff
Review previous services and contacts
Prepare to support current needs
Share family concerns with team
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Collaborates and teams with funeral directors, location managers, and other members of funeral home and or cemetery staff, to provide seamless, high quality service; Shares family concerns with rest of the SCI team
