Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or other related technical fields with at least 2 years of demonstrated experience in a pre-and post-sales technical support or High School Diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in a pre-and post-sales technical support position, Must be based in Ottawa, Canada, All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check
Nice to Have
Familiarity with Linux, Proficiency with TCP/IP protocol and networking, Experience with operating and testing IP radios/modems, Knowledge of wireless communication systems, radio frequency signal propagation, and digital communication technologies, Proficiency with programming languages such as C/C++, Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
What You'll Do.
Provide pre- and post-sales technical support
Become an expert on Silvus solutions
Prepare and conduct product demonstrations
Visit customer sites for technical support
Troubleshoot failures in the field
Collect and analyze field failures
Help Design Engineers reproduce problems
Participate in resource allocation
Help drive future product development
