What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, Knowledge of the dynamics of the food business industry or retail channels, Experience of customer-focused and fact-based selling, including IRI, Nielsen and Perishable Group data, critical thinking and problem solving skills, High level of written and verbal communication skills, organizational planning, and adaptability, Respectful, approachable and team-oriented while building working relationships and a positive work environment, Ability to work well in fast paced, dynamic environment, Possess a valid driver’s license

Achieve budgeted sales of consumer goods
Develop and achieve maximum sales volume
Maintain business with existing accounts
Introduce and place new products with customers
Execute business initiatives
Drive sales for long-term growth
Establish and maintain customer relationships
Daily communications on pricing
Maintain current knowledge of Smithfield’s product management
Cultivate business relations with personnel
Communicate product availability
