What You'll Achieve.
Achieve quarterly and annual sales quota with exceptional forecast predictability; Achieve assigned objectives of sales pipeline development and sales progression/ velocity; Develop and nurture C Level relationships at assigned customers, with the intention of having referenceable customers and becoming a trusted advisor

What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Proven software sales experience or industry experience in a consultative selling role, Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, understanding of the sales cycle and ability to manage complex sales processes, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams, Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, Willingness to travel as needed
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree in chemical, Industrial, Production, or Petroleum engineering, Experience selling to customers in the Chemical / Energy/Petroleum/Engineering industry, Familiarity with process modeling software products and services, advance process control / real time optimization, manufacturing execution systems & planning and scheduling solutions and asset performance management including prescriptive maintenance, Process industry knowledge
What You'll Do.
Generating revenue growth through the sale of AspenTech software solutions and professional services
Managing assigned accounts and opportunities maximizing revenue growth and deepening customer relationships
Achieve quarterly and annual sales quota with exceptional forecast predictability
Achieve assigned objectives of sales pipeline development and sales progression/ velocity
Manage day to day sales process
coordinate account meetings
and coordinate sales support resources
Provide sales and executive management with account updates
and operational usage of SalesForce.com
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Coordinates account resources with representatives from marketing, pre-sales engineering, and development; Coordinate and lead multidivisional account teams to achieve customer success; Work as a team leader and member collaboratively on sales engagements involving key account opportunities by pursing entire solution portfolio; build relationships with customers and internal teams
