Knowledge of Safety and Industrial Hygiene legal requirements. Knowledge of NOM's, Ergonomic risk factors and hygiene. Working knowledge of site risk identification, incident investigation, and corrective action follow-up. Intermediate proficiency in MS Office. Intermediate English proficiency. Availability to work rotating shifts (4 days on, 3 days off).

**Job Description** ## **Position Summary** ## We are looking for a Safety Representative as the site’s Subject Matter Expert in Workplace Safety and to partner with leadership in strengthening a proactive, compliant, and people-centered safety culture. This role requires independent judgment on significant matters, the ability to resolve non-routine problems, and the capability to work under general supervision while recommending solutions and improvements to leadership. ## ## The Safety Representative supports implementation of Workplace Safety requirements across the site, coaches leaders and employees, analyzes risks and trends, and builds strong partnerships with Manufacturing and Non-Manufacturing Leadership, Human Resources, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, and Health Services to reduce injuries and improve site performance. ## **Required Qualifications** * ## Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. * ## 2–3 years of experience in a safety representative, safety, or environmental role. * ## Knowledge of Safety and Industrial Hygiene legal requirements. * **Knowledge of NOM 's, Ergonomic risk factors and hygiene** * ## Working knowledge of site risk identification, incident investigation, and corrective action follow-up. * ## Intermediate proficiency in MS Office. * ## Intermediate English proficiency. * ## Availability to work rotating shifts (4 days on, 3 days off). ## **Key Responsibilities** * ## Lead and support initiatives that drive safety culture transformation through training, education, coaching, communication, and employee engagement. * ## Analyze safety data, identify trends, and recommend corrective and preventive actions to reduce injuries, risks, and recurring issues. * ## Assess site performance and conformance to safety requirements, identify gaps, and support continuous improvement actions. * ## Investigate accidents, injuries, hazards, and non-routine safety issues, using independent judgment to
