What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Proficiency in data analysis, reporting and systems, Ability to perform under pressure, with a attention to detail, Knowledge of safety policies, procedures and the important role of consistently demonstrating required behaviours and championing safety values
Nice to Have
Tertiary qualifications (such as a Bachelors / Honours degree or equivalent) in a relevant discipline such as Safety is highly desirable, Formal qualifications in Safety, combined with practical experience of 3+ years is advantageous
What You'll Do.
Ensure consistent application of safety & health principles
Monitor and report on S&H performance data
Support operational areas on appropriate use of measures
Review all Safety data received
Support and monitor training in use of reporting system
Monitor and support timely release of Alert 1 and Alert 2
Conduct routine and ad-hoc data analysis
Provide governance over access and use of reporting system
Conduct random assurance checks on data capture
Improve sustainability performance of the AA safety organisation
Participate in cross-functional integration on sustainability
Contribute to a purpose-led
high-performing culture
Work in an integrated way to provide a multi-disciplinary approach
Support compliance with internal and external requirements
