Full Job Description

Tyler Union, a division of McWane, Inc., is the nation’s leading manufacturer of Ductile Iron Waterworks Fittings and Appurtenances has an immediate opening for a Safety Engineer at Anniston facility. Tyler Union's main manufacturing facility is located in Anniston, AL. The Safety Engineer will review, evaluate, and analyze work environments and design programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury caused by chemical, physical, and biological agents, or ergonomic factors. Conduct inspections and enforce adherence to policies, laws, and regulations governing health and safety of individuals. Plan, implement, and coordinate safety programs, requiring application of engineering principles and technology, to prevent or correct unsafe environmental working conditions. Proactively promotes The McWane Way principals, values, and behaviors and lives the Compass Culture.
