What They're Looking For.

Must Have

OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification, Minimum 4+ years of experience in a health and safety role, Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Professional and approachable with customer service skills, work ethic and positive team attitude, Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, Effective written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and work effectively with others, Ability to engage, coach, and mentor individuals at all levels, organizational skills with attention to detail and time management

Nice to Have

Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), CHST, or equivalent designation, Experience working in the utility, electrical, transmission, distribution, or construction industry, knowledge of OSHA regulations, standards, and compliance requirements, Experience with DOT/FMCSA compliance programs, Experience using client compliance platforms such as ISNetworld, Avetta, DISA, PEC/Safeland, or ComplyWorks, CPR/First Aid certification, Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to project sites as required

What You'll Do.

Manage and organize employee safety documentation

Maintain accurate digital safety records

Lead and support incident investigations

Coordinate workers’ compensation claims

Identify trends and implement improvement plans

Participate in pre-job hazard assessments

Develop project HSE documentation

Participate in toolbox talks

Monitor completion and quality of inspections

Develop site-specific safe work procedures

Support field crews and project managers

and manage safety training

Support onboarding safety documentation

Ensure employee training compliance

Proactively communicate training status

Coordinate and support safety meetings

Support and participate in compliance audits

Ensure confidentiality and proper handling

Maintain compliance with federal

Support contractor prequalification systems

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Collaborate across teams to achieve safety objectives; Coordinate with HR and operations teams; Support field crews and project managers
