What You'll Do.
Supervise transportation department activities
Assign work to transportation associates
Ensure productivity and safe work environment
Work with cross-functional departments
Resolve transportation/supply chain issues
Assign and update driver schedules
Coordinate delivery changes
Maximize resources for efficient routes
Address customer concerns
Oversee review of on-board computers
Monitor fleet performance
Monitor driver schedules (DOT hours
Monitor FMCSA/DOT compliance
Communicate compliance information to drivers
Assist with safety meetings
Oversee driver paperwork
Approve driver logs and files
Process driver payroll
Recommend process changes
Provide team training on process changes
Maintain transportation reporting
Monitor department KPIs
Analyze metrics results
Partner to ensure efficient routes

Ensure compliance with distribution procedures
Ensure compliance with governmental regulations
Promote safety and security awareness
