Must Have
Class or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement
What You'll Do.
safely operate a collection truck
courteous and complete waste removal services
ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards
adhere to state and federal regulations
complete vehicle condition reports on a daily basis
perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle
report any safety issues on standard reports
operate heavy truck along designated route and to disposal site
service each customer as identified on the route sheet or as assigned
operate manual and/or automatic controls
dispose of collected material at the designated facility
interact with customers
dispatchers and others
service customer routes in a timely and professional manner
identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers
monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste
clean area around an accidental waste spill
monitor the condition of the vehicle
minimize down clean waste from the packer blade and truck body
complete required route/productivity sheets
VCRs and other reports
maintain adherence to required productivity standards
follow all required safety policies and procedures
actively participate in the Company’s ReSOP program
perform other job-related duties as assigned
