## Waste Control, a Waste Connections Company, is looking to hire for a **Class A Roll Off/Drop Box Driver **to join the team in Longview, Washington. Previous waste experience would be a huge _plus_! ## ## **The Schedule will be 4 Days on, 3 Days Off, 3 Days On, and 4 Days off **Wednesday \- Saturday **Starting at 6:00am-5:00Pm (With Overtime Often)** ## **Rate of pay is $29.36/HR.** ## _**What We Offer:**_ * ## Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits. * ## 401K Plan, $1 for $1 match up to 5% * ## Paid Time Off * ## $250 Yearly Boot Allowance * ## $$ Yearly Safety Bonus $$ ## _**Duties and Responsibilities:**_ * ## In this position you will be operating a Roll off truck on a specified route to Deliver and Pickup up Drop Boxes from the local Mills. * ## Must be able to drive manual transmission. * ## Ability to read route tablet and service each customer identified on the Route Tablet or assigned by the dispatcher. * ## Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires. * ## Ability to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading, at times with no helpers. * ## Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities. * ## Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. ## _**Working Conditions and Physical Effort:**_ * ## Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds. * ## Operating Truck to Deliver Roll Off Box and Pick up Roll Off Boxes. * ## The work environment involves some exposure to physical risks, such as moving mechanical parts, which require following basic safety precautions. * ## The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration.
