Full Job Description
## Description FieldAI’s Irvine team is where embodied AI meets real robots, real sensors, and real field deployments. Based in the heart of Southern California’s robotics ecosystem, we build risk-aware, reliable, field-ready AI systems that solve the hardest problems in robotics and unlock the full potential of embodied intelligence. If you want your work to ship, get tested on hardware, and improve through real deployments, Irvine is the place. We go beyond typical data-driven approaches or pure transformer-only architectures, combining rigorous engineering with learning systems proven in globally deployed solutions that deliver results today and get better every time our robots run in the field. About the Job The Robotics Product Security Engineer will secure Field AI’s autonomous robotic platforms operating in complex real-world environments. You will work closely with robotics, autonomy, and infrastructure teams to design, assess, and improve the security of deployed robotic systems throughout their lifecycle. Your work will directly impact the safety, resilience, and trustworthiness of autonomous systems deployed in the field. You will contribute to secure system design, threat modeling, deployment security, and adversarial assessment of robotic platforms operating under real-world conditions. ## What You’ll Get To Do Design and improve the security architecture of cloud-native infrastructure and Kubernetes environments Secure CI/CD systems, software supply chains, build pipelines, and deployment workflows Improve identity, authentication, secrets management, and access control across production systems Harden Kubernetes clusters, containerized workloads, and runtime environments against modern attack vectors Conduct threat modeling and security reviews across infrastructure and operational systems Partner closely with engineering teams to integrate practical security controls into development and operational workflows Investigate vulnerabilities affecting pro
