As a Robotics Electrical Engineer, you will design, build, and test innovative robotic workcells and module designs such as robotic end of arm tools for our robot solutions. Key job responsibilities • Work with an interdisciplinary team to design new robotic industrial automation from concept to production. • Design of complex electrical systems, including: layouts, schematics, BOM, documentation for fabrication, coordination with build/procurement, certification/QC, test and field support. • Write requirements and functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures. • Develop field support diagnostics tools, documents, and training to resolve issues in high complexity FC system installations. • Work with the Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality organizations, as well as vendors to ensure a smooth production transition of design changes. • Deep-dive drive electronics issues, optimize configurations, develop and execute tests to verify functionality. • Travel to vendors, installation sites, and manufacturing partners to ensure high quality bar is maintained.
