National and possible international travel, Ability to get into and out of hospital settings, keep all vendor requirements up to date, Ability to travel on short notice, provide service in assigned geography, Required to climb or and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, Required to possess specific visons abilities, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, capacity to adjust focus

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor’s Degree science or engineering degree, Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer in a technical customer service/field service experience in the medical device industry, Experience with GMP and ISO standards, understanding of healthcare capital equipment, Ability to get into and out of hospital settings, keep all vendor requirements up to date, Proficient in MS Office, MS Excel, Ability to travel on short notice, provide service in assigned geography, Self-starter, able to work independently, key contributor in small teams, Excellent oral, written, and graphical communication skills, Required to climb or and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, Required to possess specific visons abilities, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, capacity to adjust focus

Nice to Have

knowledge of quality and/or reliability engineering is a plus

What You'll Do.

Provide on-site installation

preventive maintenance

Ensure compliance with company policies

maintain compliance with US FDA

international medical device regulations

ISO 13485 quality system requirements

Participate in customer phone inquiries

documentation of all customer reports

Interfaces with internal and external customers

maintenance and service issues

Installs Globus Medical product on-site

Performs site acceptance testing

Demonstrates system functionality

secures documented evidence

Responds to customer issues / complaints

diagnosing reported problems

replacing (or repairing) product

demonstrating to customers that the reported problem has been resolved

Performs preventative maintenance

Updates existing products

resolve systemic product issues

ensure optimal system upgrades

enhance system capabilities

provides additional features

Documents and properly records all customer feedback

issues and complaints

Documents the results of all customer visits

formal installation and system functionality test reports

Participates in and helps manage returned material authorization (RMA) processing

Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct

Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws

completing introductory and annual training

maintaining knowledge of compliance

Represents the company in a professional manner

uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices
