Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible. _**Job Description:**_ ### Parsons is now hiring a Roadway Engineer I to join our **Sandy Springs** office to support major regional transportation infrastructure projects! **What You 'll Be Doing:** * Collaborate often with senior engineers, perform various roadway engineering and design assignments requiring the application of engineering techniques, procedures and design criteria for projects ranging in size and complexity * Utilize drafting and modeling software, tools, and programs, to develop conceptual and detailed designs * Perform design calculations including material quantity takeoffs and construction cost estimates * Assist in the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans and specifications for assigned projects * Assist in the preparation of detailed requisitions for material purchase, services, and subcontracts * Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate **What Required Skills You 'll Bring:** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) * 3 years or more of related work experience with road and highway projects * Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate is preferred * Proficiency in utilizing AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation Geopak and/or OpenRoads, is required * The ability to communicate and effectively participate as part of an engineering team _**Security Clearance Requirement:**_ None This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
