What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field from an ABET accredited civil engineering program, Passed FE/EI exam, 2-7 years of relevant roadway design engineering experience working on DOT/LPA related projects, Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, understanding of design principles and standards, Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, written and verbal communication skills, Ability to work individually or as part of a team
What You'll Do.
Prepare preliminary design plans
and specifications under the guidance of senior engineers
Conduct analyses and perform standard computations
and visual aids for projects
May coordinate work with entry-level engineers
Collaborate with the design team to ensure compliance with local
and federal regulations
Conduct field inspections to gather relevant data and contribute to site assessments
Utilize design software and tools for drafting and modeling
Support the development of cost estimates for projects
Perform quality control self-checks of assigned work
Perform other duties as assigned

## Description We are looking for a talented Civil Engineer to join our growing Roadway/Highway design team in the Greater St. Louis region. The ideal candidate for this role have experience working on local agency and/or DOT roadway design projects.
