### **Job Description** ## Overview The Civil Engineer (Design & Infrastructure) is responsible for the development of civil engineering designs, models, and drawings for infrastructure and site development projects. The role focuses on delivering accurate 2D/3D designs, supporting engineering calculations, and ensuring alignment with project requirements and standards. ## Your role * Develop detailed civil engineering drawings, plans, and 3D models using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads * Generate and analyze existing ground and subsurface surfaces using survey data * Design site grading, drainage systems, and earthworks, including volume calculations and quantity take-offs * Prepare underground utilities and services layouts * Interpret engineering concepts, sketches, and technical data to produce accurate design outputs * Develop road alignments, profiles, and cross-sections for infrastructure projects * Produce high-quality engineering drawings in accordance with project standards * Support design coordination with civil engineers and multidisciplinary teams * Ensure compliance with applicable engineering practices, standards, and procedures * Assist in reviewing and refining design outputs to meet project objectives ## About you * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or equivalent qualification * Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering design and drafting * Strong experience in 2D and 3D design for: Site grading and earthworks, Drainage systems, Underground utilities, Road and infrastructure design * Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, InRoads, or OpenRoads * Ability to interpret survey data, maps, and engineering drawings * Knowledge of civil engineering practices, standards, and design methodologies * Experience in mining or industrial projects is an advantage * Basic understanding of hydrology is a plus * Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy * Good written and verbal communication skills in Engli
