What You'll Do.
Assist physician and staff with daily coordination
Function as liaison between patients
Maintain efficient patient flow
Deliver direct patient care within scope
Collect lab specimens
Prioritize patient care
Ensure proper preparation for patient visit
Communicate problems to Office Supervisor/Manager
Identify patients correctly
Employ appropriate EHR tasking
Obtain vital signs accurately
Administer injections
Demonstrate telephone triage protocols
Schedule appointments accurately
Adhere to universal safety precautions
Review and update medication list
Enter orders and schedule appointments
Provide referrals and consult orders
Check and maintain logs for emergency equipment
Facilitate transition of care
Maintain proficiency with department specific equipment
