What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum of 1 year of Emergency nursing experience, Active BLS certification, Active ACLS certification, Active PALS certification, Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS), Two (2) years full-time RN experience in ER or other comparable experience
Nice to Have
Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP), NRP required within 90 days of hire, Certification in specialty area
What You'll Do.
Organize patient care by prioritizing
delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis
Utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies
procedures and protocols
Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care
patient experience and cost reduction
Foster a learning environment for patients/families
nursing staff and members of the health care team
Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy
and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
