Surgical patients in this unit have typically undergone abdominal surgery or hysterectomy and have drains or need wound care. There are also many cardiac and stroke patients on this high-acuity floor. 2M is an inclusive unit that fosters respect, collaboration and support among all caregivers and prioritizes open communication to ensure that everyone feels heard and valued.
