**Corewell Health Wayne Hospital** Wayne Hospital is a Magnet®-designated facility that provides exceptional nursing and advanced medical, surgical, emergency, and critical care services for patients throughout the greater Wayne area. Serving the region since 1957, this 99-bed, full-service acute care center is the only one in the Wayne, Westland, Garden City, Canton, Inkster and Romulus area verified by the American College of Surgeons as a Level III trauma center and certified by The Joint Commission. The hospital has a long-standing partnership with Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to handle a variety of health and communicable disease concerns. This community-focused hospital has been recognized by _U.S. News & World Report _as a high-preforming facility in congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, kidney failure and maternal services. **Scope of Work** The clinical nurse, under the ANA scope of practice utilizes the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family centered care principles. The Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader according to Corewell Health policies and procedures. **Qualifications** * Associates in Nursing Required * Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years * Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed health care role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination. * MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required * AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days * AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required within 6 months * Specialty Certification highly recommended within 2 years * 1 year of experience as an RN in the ICU Preferred ## How Corewell Health cares for you * Comprehensive benefits package to meet your fina
