Must Have
Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN), One year of recent RN work experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross, Complete an IAFN approved SANE Adolescent/Adult course within 60 days of hire, Complete an IAFN approved SANE Pediatric course within 1 year of hire
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN), Trauma experience, Women’s Health experience, Pediatric experience
What You'll Do.
Collect forensic evidence
Maintain chain of custody
Perform speculum exams
Perform pediatric assessments
Utilize knowledge of forensic evidence collection
Interact with medical staff
Collaborate with law enforcement
Collaborate with prosecutors
Collaborate with protective services
Collaborate with advocates
Provide court testimony
Participate in on-call schedule
Respond to designated facility within one hour
Participate in community awareness programs
Travel to other Cleveland Clinic Facilities
