**About the Unit** Our Med Surg Unit is a 25-bed department providing comprehensive care to patients from Mason County and surrounding West Michigan communities. This unit cares for a wide range of medical conditions, including: * Pneumonia and respiratory illnesses * Cellulitis and infectious processes * Kidney failure and acute/chronic kidney injury * Diabetes-related conditions and hyperglycemia * Ulcers and wound care needs * Geriatric and confused elderly patients * Alcohol-related health concerns * Sepsis * Select psychiatric patients Med Surg offers a broad clinical experience with a supportive team environment. **About Ludington Hospital** For over a century, we have provided comprehensive health care services for Mason and Oceana County residents and the thousands of tourists who visit each year.
