Must Have
Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams, Experience in AML or Compliance, Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese at a business level or above (N1+), 2+ years of fraud/risk investigations experience, Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Nice to Have
Experience solving complex investigations or escalations, Experience working in risk/fraud analysis, Experience in compliance organizations, Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws and regulations, Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Knowledge of OFAC regulations, CAMS Certification, Other compliance certification, CRCM certification, CRP certification
What You'll Do.
Investigate denied entities/lists and sanctions potential matches
Support various business units
Participate in ongoing customer due diligence
Assist in identifying gaps
Assist in identifying training opportunities for escalations
Help identify remediations for identified gaps
Consistently meet set goals and KPIs
Perform 1st level review of escalation decisions
Assist with responding to audits
Assist with responding to outside inquiries
Offer guidance to investigators
Offer feedback to investigators
Offer support to investigators
Offer guidance to other operations team members
Offer feedback to other operations team members
Offer support to other operations team members
Help business comply with applicable laws
Help business comply with applicable regulations
Investigate and mitigate risk
