The Risk Management Analyst 3 (H) serves as a subject matter expert and project lead for risk management initiatives. This role supervises a team of risk analysts, evaluates organizational vulnerabilities, and advises management on strategic risk mitigation and compliance. **CORE JOB FUNCTIONS** * Mentors risk analysts and oversees team projects and workflow. * Performs statistical analysis to quantify risk and forecast outcomes. * Prepares and presents findings to senior management, recommending solutions to minimize risks. * Monitors internal and external risk factors, including regulatory changes. * Supports managers in risk management model construction. * Implements and maintains risk management information systems. * Leads development and administration of risk management programs and policies. * Coordinates hospital-wide programs for quality patient care and risk-free services. * Liaises with attorneys, insurance companies, and individuals for claims and litigation management. * Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets. **Department Specific Functions** * Independently manages assigned event and incident reports, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and appropriate follow-up actions. * Conducts medical record review and analysis for patient safety events across general acute care and select specialty care settings. * Participates actively in investigations, including interviews, documentation review, and contribution to root cause and risk analyses. * Analyzes and trends event data to iden
