Understanding of the Uniform Act and applicable federal/state regulations is preferred, Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) ability is high preferred, Real Estate license or appraisal certification preferred
What You'll Do.
Executing right-of-way activities across the project lifecycle
Supporting land acquisition efforts
including participating in negotiations with property owners in compliance with the Uniform Act
Preparing acquisition offers
relocation assistance packages
and payment documentation in accordance with federal and state requirements
Providing relocation advisory services to displaced residents and businesses
including needs assessments
eligibility determinations
and identification of replacement housing or facilities
Managing sensitive or high-impact acquisitions
including those involving low-income
or special-needs populations
ensuring equitable treatment and regulatory compliance
and title records to validate ownership and identify potential acquisition risks or issues
Preparing and distributing property owner and tenant notification packages
Conducting property inventories and supporting property management activities (sale
Maintaining accurate records
including contact logs
condemnation support materials
Coordinating and supervising the demolition and removal of property improvements
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Partners closely with project managers, legal counsel, and clients; Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners, including clients, attorneys, government agencies, and real estate professionals; Providing guidance to junior staff or support personnel on specific assignments as needed
