# **SIGN ON BONUS TO NEW HIRES!!!** **POSITION SUMMARY** The RHVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and equipment in commercial environments. The role requires a solid understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure that all systems operate efficiently and safely. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** **Maintenance & Service:** * Perform regular preventative maintenance tasks such as changing filters, inspecting refrigerant levels, calibrating sensors, and checking for system leaks. * Lubricate system components, check for proper system pressure, and replace worn-out parts as necessary. * Conduct system diagnostics to identify issues with airflow, temperature regulation, or other mechanical problems. **Troubleshooting & Repairs:** * Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in HVAC and refrigeration systems, including but not limited to electrical failures, mechanical breakdowns, refrigerant leaks, and sensor malfunctions. * Provide timely, effective repairs and replacements of parts as needed to restore system function. **Installation:** * Install new HVAC and refrigeration systems (e.g., compressors, coils, split systems, RTUs, heaters, walk-in coolers & freezer units) in compliance with local codes and safety regulations. * Ensure proper integration of ductwork, electrical wiring, and piping for optimal system functionality. **Customer Interaction:** * Communicate effectively with clients regarding service issues, solutions, and recommendations for system improvements or upgrades. * Provide guidance on optimal system usage and maintenance schedules to ensure long-term performance and energy efficiency. **Safety & Compliance:** * Follow all safety procedures and regulations when handling refrigerants, operating electrical systems, and working with pressurized equ
