What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of revenue cycle experience, with a focus in medical oncology billing, Prior management or supervisory experience required, Deep knowledge of oncology coding and billing, including chemotherapy/infusion services and drug reimbursement, understanding of payer rules, reimbursement models, and denial management strategies, Proven ability to analyze data and drive measurable improvements
Nice to Have
Experience working with EMR/PM systems (e. g. , Epic, Cerner, OncoEMR preferred)
What You'll Do.
Oversee end-to-end revenue cycle operations, including coding, charge capture, billing, AR, and collections within oncology services, Manage and support billing provide coaching, workflow oversight, and performance monitoring, Ensure accurate billing for oncology-specific services (e.
, infusion, drug administration, J-codes, prior authorizations), Identify and resolve denials, underpayments, and payer-specific issues, especially across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans, Analyze KPIs (e.
, days in AR, clean claim rate, denial rates) and implement process improvements, Partner with clinical, finance, and compliance teams to ensure proper documentation and regulatory adherence, Support audits and ensure compliance with CMS guidelines and oncology billing regulations, Optimize revenue cycle systems and recommend best practices and efficiencies.
