Revenue Assurance Analyst Location: Nairobi, Kenya Reports to: Revenue Assurance Manager About the role: We are looking for a Revenue Assurance Analyst to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of revenue across all products and transaction flows. In this role, you will analyze billing and transaction data, investigate complex revenue discrepancies, and reinforce controls that safeguard revenue. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and partners to identify potential revenue leakage, optimize reconciliation processes, and deliver reliable revenue reporting. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in data-driven, high-volume environments, enjoys working with financial systems and operational processes, and is motivated to help build scalable, robust revenue operations. Key responsibilities: Oversight of the billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accurate and complete revenue capture across all products and services. Monitor revenue and transaction datasets to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and potential revenue leakage risks. Investigate complex revenue discrepancies, failed transactions, refunds, and reconciliation breaks, performing root cause analysis and coordinating resolution with relevant teams. Own end-to-end revenue reconciliations across billing systems, transaction platforms, financial systems, and partner data feeds. Analyze customer churn trends and revenue performance, providing insights on revenue impact and operational risk areas. Support and validate UAT and SIT testing to ensure correct implementation of billing rules, revenue logic, and reconciliation controls prior to system releases. Partner with Data and Analytics teams to enhance revenue monitoring dashboards, reporting frameworks, and data visibility. Provide regular Revenue Assurance reporting, analysis, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
