What You'll Achieve.
Ensure a quick and easy customer experience; Keep the store clean and clutter free; Maintain the cleanliness of the floor and stockrooms; Help customers find great deals; Ensure a seamless and friendly experience; Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards; Prepare and ship customer’s orders following quality, packing and shipping standards

Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching, Handling bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, Reaching for and lifting items above the head, Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds, Occasionally lift items weighing up to 25 pounds, Stock and Fulfillment Only: Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds, Stock and Fulfillment Only: Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

What You'll Do.
Ensure the salesfloor stays 'runway ready'
Size and fill in salesfloor through re-merchandising and straightening
Assist customers with a variety of transactions
Operate a point-of-sale system
Bag items of all sizes
Handle bulky sometimes heavy items
Ensure a seamless and friendly experience
Greet and assist customers as a fitting room attendant
Sort and return clothing to the floor
Create a clean and clutter-free customer experience
Sort and return clothing to the salesfloor
Keep the stockrooms organized
Ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment
Adhere to all operational
merchandise and asset protection standards
Promote initiatives like our Nordstrom Rewards program
Unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards
Prepare and ship customer’s orders following quality
packing and shipping standards
Utilize inventory management systems to scan
process and research merchandise shipments
Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
Provide general support to the store
Set up special events
Relocate store fixtures
