Must be able to physically exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects, Visual requirements include clarity of vision at distances of more than 20 inches and less than 20 feet, and field of vision, Frequent exposure to noise on a daily basis, fast work pace in a retail store setting, handle multiple tasks (filling scripts, answering telephone, waiting on customers, etc. ) every day, occasional exposure to dangerous chemicals/solvents, fully responsible for company assets including prescription inventory, third party accounts receivable, pharmacy computer and software, and pharmacy fixtures, Maintains the confidentiality of the customer’s private medical information according to the HIPAA act, Maintains the confidentiality of prescription drug pricing and costs, successful completion of a pre employment drug screen

Must Have

Enrolled in accredited college of pharmacy and registered with State Pharmacy Board as an intern, Six months or less of similar or related work experience

What You'll Do.

Fills and helps process prescriptions

Provides prompt and efficient service

Assists with inventory control

maintaining inventory levels by ordering and stocking merchandise

and entering inventory information into the computer

Works with co-workers as a team to ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures and facility policies

Prepares prescriptions

Reports any medication errors to appropriate personnel

Prepares and affixes labels to prescription containers

Assists in training employees

Assists with monthly inventory

Follows security and regulatory procedures including Quality Assurance Programs

Maintains cleanliness of pharmacy and dispensing area

Maintains a professional appearance

Adheres to company policies

Reports to work when scheduled and on time

Assists in other areas of the store as needed

Performs other job related duties and special projects as required
