If you are ready to make a difference as part of the world’s greatest sports team, apply to join our team today! **OVERVIEW:** The Equipment Services Tech is responsible for building, maintenance, inspection and the repair of all product purchased and serviced through the service department for all specialized equipment. In addition, the core responsibilities within the shop, the technician is expected to fully trained in sales and register functionality to help deliver the elevated experience athletes expect when visiting our House of Sport location. The job duties and responsibilities of this role include the following: Technical Requirements: * Assembles, maintains and repairs action sports equipment meeting the needs of the athlete and in accordance with company and vendor standards * Assist with everyday services, including but not limited to * Bike: minor to advanced repairs; This includes but is not limited to repairing/replacing parts; fitting accessories (lights, pannier racks or cycle computers), routine safety checks; cleaning, degreasing and lubricating bicycles and components, etc. * Snow Equipment: base cleaning, sharpening, waxing, brushing, polishing and preparation, detuning tips/tails. Diagnose faults, damage and wear to give accurate estimates to athletes, and educating them on and whether repairs are essential or recommended. Assemble new equipment and partner with lead to perform quality checks before handing off to the explorer Sales Floor Responsibility: * Understands athletes behavior, can successfully assess needs and recommend product/service meets those specific needs * Support Company standards of selling and cust
