Newport News, Virginia **Overview** Works under the supervision of Nursing Manager/Supervisor and therapy department. Administers restorative care treatments as determined by the interdisciplinary team. Documents restorative care in EMR and monitors CNA documentation when they provide restorative care to residents. **What you will do** * Maintains appropriate medical records for each patient. Documents restorative care in EMR. Monitors for compliance in documentation of CNA's providing restorative care. * Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety /dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of facility to include resident privacy and dignity. * Performs restortative care programs outlined for each resident as determined by the interdisciplinary team. Provides feedback to team. Utilitzes opportunities to coach staff on restorative care and safety techniques. * Follows universal precautions, proper infection control, sanitation and safety standards of practice in all work and activities. **Qualifications** **Education** * High School Diploma or GED, (Preferred) **Experience** * 1 year Restorative nursing experience (Preferred) **Licenses and Certifications** * Certified Nurse Aid (CNA) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required) * CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required) To learn more about being a team member with Riverside Health System visit us at .
