An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join the team at The Falls Restaurant, Sheen Falls Lodge. Scope and General Purpose of Job : * To proactively manage all aspects of the guest experience in the Falls Restaurant and the private dining rooms in the Hotel. * To foster a culture of knowledge and a passion for good food and wine amongst all associates in the department and a desire by all members to share knowledge and a love of food and wine. * To manage the department to the highest operating and hygiene standards while achieving the agreed elements of the financial budget for The Falls, Private dining rooms including WPCC dining and Room Service. * The role also has responsibility for breakfast, lounge dining and afternoon tea. * Overseeing service staff and supervisors on the floor during service periods and overseeing room service, private dining rooms and WPCC for functions meeting food and T/C breaks. * The role needs to have a team approach and be very customer and people focused. The role focuses on supporting the day-to-day activities in food & beverage outlets, the Falls, room service, the lounge and private dining rooms. This role is accountable for the service standards and hygiene standards and the total food and wine sales budget in the hotel.
