What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Baccalauréat en génie civil, électrique ou mécanique, Minimum de 10 ans d’expérience comme responsable de chantier au Québec, idéalement en énergie, réseaux électriques ou infrastructures lourdes, Expérience démontrée en travaux civils, installation et/ou mise en service, Bonne maîtrise des enjeux contractuels, des modalités commerciales et du contrôle des coûts sur site, Connaissances reconnues et certifications en santé, sécurité et environnement (SSE), Bilinguisme français/anglais, à l’oral comme à l’écrit, Autorisation de travail permettant de travailler pour Hitachi Energy au Canada

What You'll Do.

Lead on-site execution of critical power generation and power grid projects

Oversee construction activities from site preparation through installation

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and local stakeholders

Coordinate subcontractors

and regulatory authorities

Ensure projects are delivered safely

and in compliance with requirements

Lead site mobilization

and daily construction activities

Ensure site teams understand Scope of Work (SoW) and Division of Work (DoW)

Drive site change management

including variation orders and subcontractor follow-ups

and customer acceptance activities

Promote and enforce Health

and Environmental (HSE) standards

Ensure quality execution and proper creation

and archiving of site records and documentation

Deliver site activities in line with contractual schedules

and customer expectations

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Coordinate subcontractors, internal teams, and regulatory authorities; Act as the primary site interface with customers, local authorities, and external stakeholders; Join a collaborative organization

Communication Scope

Fluent in French and English, spoken and written
