What You'll Do.
Perform all respiratory care
Develop patient-centered plan of care
Review medical history
Evaluate patient for therapies
Provide Bronchodilator Care
Provide Ventilator Care
Provide Pulmonary Hygiene Therapy
Provide Airway Management and Care
Provide Sleep Disorder Screening
Provide Bipap/Cpap therapy
Provide Appropriate Oxygen and Aerosol Therapy
Provide Discharge Education
Assist in discharge coordination
Perform Diagnostic Procedures/Testing
Perform TCOM monitoring
Perform Overnight pulse ox study
Perform Oxygen Desaturation Study
Participate in performance improvement
Identify ways to improve care
Report unexpected events
Report medical errors
Participate in data collection
Participate in documentation audits
Promote safety for all patients
Follow departmental policies and procedures
Understand initiatives to improve safety
Identify and report unexpected events
Identify and report near misses
Communicate threats to patient safety
