Our team of skilled respiratory therapists works collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care, including advanced diagnostic testing, therapeutic interventions, and patient education. We utilize the latest technology and evidence-based practices to manage and treat a wide range of respiratory conditions, ensuring our patients receive the best possible outcomes. Join us in our mission to improve respiratory health and enhance the quality of life for our patients. **About Corewell Health Wayne Hospital** Corewell Health Wayne Hospital opened its doors to western Wayne communities in 1957. This full-service hospital is the only hospital in the Wayne, Westland, Garden City, Canton, Inkster and Romulus area verified by the American College of Surgeons as a Level III Trauma Center. The hospital has a longstanding partnership with Detroit Metropolitan Airport and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to handle a wide variety of health and communicable disease concerns including mass trauma and emergency patients. **Scope of work** Under minimal direction, the Registered Respiratory Therapist: implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders; participates in the education of patients, students, staff and physicians; provides technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care; assists with general department functions. **Qualifications** * Required Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy * Respiratory Therapist License - State of Michigan Upon Hire required * Respiratory Therapist Registry - NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care Upon Hire required * Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American He
