Job Description **Royal Oak - Casual/PRN position** **About the Unit** Our Respiratory Care Department is dedicated to providing comprehensive respiratory therapy services to patients of all ages. Our team of skilled respiratory therapists works collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care, including advanced diagnostic testing, therapeutic interventions, and patient education. We utilize the latest technology and evidence-based practices to manage and treat a wide range of respiratory conditions, ensuring our patients receive the best possible outcomes. Today, the hospital is a 1,101-bed major academic and referral center with [Level I adult trauma](https://www.beaumont.org/services/emergency/trauma) and [Level II pediatric trauma](https://www.beaumont.org/services/childrens/specialties/pediatric-trauma) designations. Corewell is the exclusive clinical partner of the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, with more than 1,400 doctors on faculty. **Scope of Work** Under the supervision of a Registered Respiratory Therapist, provides care to patients with acute and chronic illness by administering various therapeutic modalities and by providing reinforcement for the education and instruction developed in the patient care plan.
