What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Master's degree in Counseling, Elementary Education, Early Childhood, School Psychology, or closely related field, Equivalent combination of education and experience
Nice to Have
Three (3) years of experience in school-based mental health services, Trauma-informed care experience, Multi-tiered system of supports experience
What You'll Do.
Provide training on trauma-informed practices
Provide training on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)
Provide training on Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
Provide training on student support initiatives
Remain knowledgeable of current trends
Remain knowledgeable of best practices
Remain knowledgeable of research in counseling
Remain knowledgeable of school-based mental health services
Remain knowledgeable of psychology
Support development of training plans
Support development of communication plans
Disseminate information to school community
Assist teams in establishing meeting roles
Assist teams in establishing meeting responsibilities
Assist teams in establishing meeting norms
Establish multidisciplinary team
Identify multidisciplinary team
Engage in learning activities
Strengthen performance
Maintain focus on goals
